A lot of mobile phone manufacturers are looking for ways on how to attract consumers’ attention towards their product. For them uncommon designs will surely catch the attention of the mobile goers.
And with the unusual design that we’re talking about, let’s take a look at the tiny Modu phone. The phone is making a great attempt to make it as the World’s smallest cellphone on the market and we must say that they’ve actually succeeded as the Modu phones listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the world’s lightest cellphone at only less than 43 grams. This small Israeli-made Modu mobile handset measures in at 71.1 x 37.6 x 7.8 mm (2.8 x 1.5 x 0.3 inches).
If you think that the world’s smallest cellphone only have the feature of being “small” then you’re wrong. The maker of the tiniest phone provided a feature wherein it can be morphed into a variety of appearance by a vest jacket. The vests provided by Modu contain street-art jacket, night jacket, classic jacket, and express jacket.
Moreover, the world’s smallest mobile phone packs a music player with a 2 GB internal memory. Also, the keypad looks a little strange as it doesn’t come up with the regular alphanumeric keypad that everyone’s familiar with. Well, I’m sure that would leave us thinking about how the navigation works. The small cellular phone offers 8 hours of music playback time and 2.5 hours of talk time or 100 hours of standby time with its 530 mAh battery.
In addition, it has a 1.3 inch OLED screen and supports Bluetooth technology as well as USB connectivity. The cost of this small Modu mobile phone is about $100 though it seems a little difficult to find where to buy. However, in the Philippines the world’s smallest cellphone is already available via Globe Telecom.
