moisturizing hair naturally at homeThey say that if you are so vigilant when it comes hydrating and having a clean skin, then you also have to do so when it comes to your hair.  Your hair is your crowning glory, yes it is such a cliché, but not all of us are gifted with healthy and shiny black hair which is the reason why we shouldn’t take it for granted and we should start to care for it. Has it looked so dry, frizzy, and dull? Has it lost its luster? If your answers are yes, then you seriously have to moisturize and hydrate the strands to bring it back to its once good looking condition. To do this, you can always go to your favorite salon to have it done. The downside though is that some chemical treatments may even damage it and only make the strands get weaker.  There are natural ways though that can help you moisture it back  using home remedies. How to moisturize hair at home, you wonder? Well then just continue scrolling down for our moisturizing tips naturally.

How to Moisturize Hair at Home

  1. Try this homemade moisturizer by combining 2 eggs, 2 tablespoons of mayonnaise, almond oil, or olive oil, and the content of a Vitamin E capsule.  Blend the ingredients evenly and apply it to your hair and scalp for atleast 20 minutes. You can also leave it overnight if you want. Deep condition it by using a thermal heat cap.  After the desired time, rinse it thoroughly and that’s it. Try this home remedy several times a month.
  2. Massage the roots from tips with coconut oil and put on a plastic cap. Allow it to sit for atleast half an hour, and then rinse with lukewarm water.
  3. Another home remedy that is noted to be helpful is to consider honey treatment, put a tablespoon of honey in four cups of warm water. Make sure that it is mixed thoroughly.  Pour the mixture on a freshly wet hair and pat the hair dry using a towel. Honey helps to soften and make your it shinier.
  4. You can also use other natural products such as soybean oil, castor oil mixed in a bowl of war water.  Massage it throughout and leave it on for several minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
  5. Other remedies that are trusted to give you a good hair grooming is the use of fruit mixtures such as citrus, banana, and avocado blended with unflavored yogurt. Leave it on for atleast 10-15 minutes before rinsing.
  6. Try to use your trusted products to moisturize.  As for me, I opt for Samy products as they are high quality designed to nurture hair.

Hair is easily damaged especially if you style it more frequently like using extensions, you make it curly, and even while on braids.  These alone send you signal to have it moisturized and give it a thicker, fuller, stronger, and shiny hair.  Good luck!
