How to Clear Acne with Baking Soda
- Clean you face first with a mild natural or a clear facial soap. You can try to ask your dermatologist for soap without perfume and strong chemicals. Wash the face gently. Don’t scrub. Pat the skin dry.
- In a clean bowl, make a paste with some baking soda and some water. The paste should not be too thick or too watery. Stop when the paste has achieved consistency like that of watery toothpaste. Apply the mixture on your face and other affected areas through a circular motion for about 10 seconds. Leave the mixture to your face for another 10 seconds and rinse off thoroughly.
- Gently pat your skin and face dry with a clean towel. Then, put a pea-size amount of calamine lotion onto the affected areas with a cotton swab and let it dry.
- Leave the lotion overnight and rinse it off in the morning. Make this as your regimen to see results within 7-10 days.
