What is a Panic Attack?

It is a condition of adrenaline being released into you bloodstream. The adrenaline glands receive a message that there’s an emergency. A panic attack can be disguised as temper tantrums, asthma attacks, or negative outbursts.

Here are some symptoms associated with the condition:

  • Shaking
  • Headache
  • Pounding or racing heart
  • Shortness of breath

  • Understand what triggers the attack and try to minimize doing it. Prevention is better than cure.  For instance, you suffer from it after smoking marijuana so quit it.
  • Hold your breath for as long as you can during an attack.  It will prevent the dissipation of carbon dioxide.  Repeat it for a few times.
  • Breathe in and out of a paper bag to inhale the carbon dioxide that you exhaled. This will help you restore the normal blood PH level.  This is one of the ways to stop panics naturally.
  • Do a vigorous activity like going up and down the stairs or running. This is one of the home remedies you can do.
  • Start drinking a bunch of water.
  • Keep your brain functioning properly.
  • Don’t take any medication like Xanax without the supervision of your doctor just to end your agony.
  • Get professional help for the treatment of panic attacks, especially with depression and other similar disorders like OCD.
